Simply Mac e-Waste Recycle Event

Simply Mac is proud to announce our first annual e-Waste Recycle Event! We’re excited to bring FREE e-Waste recycling to both Salt Lake and Utah counties.

You may not know it, but e-Waste is the fastest-growing segment of America's trash volume. e-Waste accounts for 5% of our landfill volume, and it's only getting worse the more technology advances.

What can you do about it? It's easy! Just attend the Simply Mac e-Waste Recycle Event and dispose of your e-Waste the green way and the free way!

Simply Mac Racing

Simply Mac Racing is our community cycling team. Started in 2008 by 5 friends, Simply Mac Racing has grown to a large team of diverse cyclists, from recreational riders to advanced category racers for both men and women.

The team goes on group rides and also holds an annual Simply Mac Racing Criterium Series. Visit the Simply Mac Racing website for more information on the team and becoming a member.

Meals for Macs Food Drive

We held our first annual Meals for Macs food drive in 2010, collecting donations of macaroni and cheese, canned apple products and other food items at our four Utah retail locations in Layton, Orem, St. George and the Fort Union area from Nov. 15 through Dec. 18. We also pledged to donate 10 pounds of food for every computer or iPad purchased at Simply Mac during that period.

Through these efforts, we were able to donate $25,000 worth of food to the Utah Food Bank. That's the equivalent of 70,726 meals and enough to feed 48 families one meal for an entire year!

Simply Mac Sponsors Hogle Zoo's Snow Leopard Exhibit

We have partnered with Utah’s Hogle Zoo to sponsor the snow leopard exhibit at Asian Highlands. This sponsorhip was set up in conjunction with the 2009 release of Apple's Snow Leopard operating system.

We plan to partner with Hogle Zoo for special customer events and also throughout the next few years in other community events.

Simply Mac Donations

Simply Mac actively supports numerous philanthropic causes in our communities. This commitment includes our support of MDA, monetary donations, advisory board participation, volunteer programs and product donations.
