A Handy iPhone Trick: Find My Parked Car

by Sarah Dobson on July 15, 2019
The iPhone’s Maps app can record where you’ve parked your car and direct you back to it, which is great in large parking lots or unfamiliar neighborhood streets. Open Maps and scan the recent locations list at the bottom for a Parked Car entry. Tap it, tap the Directions button on the next screen, tap Walk if necessary, and then tap Go. Then follow the blue brick road and the directions that Maps provides. (For this to work, three Settings switches must be enabled: Settings > Privacy > Location Services, Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Significant Locations, and Settings > Maps > Show Parked Location.)
