preparing for your Mac's service

We know it's a bummer when your Mac is out of commission, but here at Simply Mac, we like to make things as easy as possible for you.

There are a couple of steps you can take to make your service check-in go as smoothly as possible. Each step is outlined below with a video for more information.

	find your computer's serial number. this will help you with the next step.
	check your Mac's warranty status.
	bring your computer's administrator password so the service techs can do their thing. if you don't feel comfortable giving out your password, you can change it temporarily. click on the link to the right to learn how.
