We’ve all been waiting for what seems like forever to hear more news of iPhone 5′s highly anticipated release. According to AllThingsD, iPhone 5 is scheduled for an October release as opposed to the rumored September release. This makes sense as Apple will probably want to roll out iPhone 5 with iOS 5 pre-installed, right? Right. Other rumors suggest Apple will host an event in late September with an actual product launch in October.
Rumors continue to circulate as to the actual details on iPhone 5′s design. We blogged about rumored features here and here and it seems that most of these rumors continue to stay the same. We’re still talking a dual-core A5 processor and beefier camera along with more speculation on a larger screen.
Pictures from Chinese manufacturers continue to surface, although nobody really knows if these are based on fact or pure speculation. This picture comes from Hui Tong.

Besides iPhone 5, however, there are also rumors about a possible iPhone 4s, which will be a lower-end model that comes unlocked with no contract required. I have a hard time believing that would actually happen, but you never know.
I guess we’ll all continue to wait and see how all of this iPhone 5 madness actually unfolds. We asked way back in April if you’ll be getting an iPhone 5, but this time around we’re wondering what features you’re hoping for most.
